Following the Memorial Service and Lion's Club Community Picnic at Kratz Field, the Historical Society of Ogden Dunes will be hosting an Ice Cream Social and Open House.
The "Hour Glass Museum" is open to the public without charge on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. On some months during the year, the Historical Society will also sponsor a program at 4:00. See Calendar.
Trent Pendley, a well known author of local color fiction, will share his experiences writing about Porter County. The program will begin at 4:00 p.m. and be followed by a reception. All are invited.

Kim Swift, Chief of Education and a park ranger, at the Indiana Dunes National Park will present a virtual presentation describing the tremendous accomplishments of the women who made it possible for the larger public to enjoy the newest National Park.
