    Nature walk with Odin Bules, National Park Ranger. We will start at Long Lake Park tennis courts at 2p ending at the newly renovated Hour Glass Museum at 330p. Tree & plant identification along with tips to manage invasives plants & trees.

  • The Legend of Belle Gunness (allias Hell’s Belle)

    Bruce Johnson will give a program on Belle Gunness, a serial killer in the area from 1884 to 1908. Gunness is thought to have killed at least fourteen people, most of whom were men she enticed to visit her rural Indiana property. Some reports up to 40 males were murdered. Some said she died in a fire in 1908, or did she? Program at 4-5p.

    Hour Glass Museum 8 Lupine Lane, Ogden Dunes, IN, United States

    Sunday, May 17, 2026 4 p.m. Hour Glass Museum 8 Lupine Lane Kids (and parents)! Come to the Hour Glass Museum to learn about native plants from our town's own National Park Ranger, Laura Brennan! After learning, you'll be able to participate in beautifying our Historical Society by planting some native plants around the property. You'll be able to tell your friends, "I planted that plant," for years to come! Come be a part of our beautiful history! Kids will come home with gardening gloves and a small planting spade. Don't miss it!
